Mike Henry on #2. This is a great picture(click to enlarge).

Dennis Smith on #2(also a great picture).

Aaron Walburg on #5 prepares for a loony shot out of the lake.

The golf gods are with him as he successfully digs the ball out from beneath 2 inches of water.

Aaron's clothes, however, are smattered with pond slop. He'll get slimed again later while hitting a plugged ball from the bank of the lake on #6, then again as he takes a picture of Mark Boguski (see below).

Mark Steppan and Don Wade watch as Ram Sharma narrowly misses a long putt at #7.

Barry Woods (or Mike Armstrong)  putts out on the 17th hole.

Mike Henry on #10.

Mike on #13.

Mike on #18

Ted Goode hitting out of a bunker as Glenda Goode and Scott Meredith watch.

Mark Boguski on #10.

Mark on #14

Mark waiting for Madonna's or Tom Waits'(only speculation) Lear Jet to take off from the runway of the adjacent airport.

Mark hitting out of the muddy bank on #15. His shot was doubly successful. Not only did he hit out of the hazard, but he splattered his playing partner (Aaron, behind the camera) with another helping of pond slop.

Crawdad on #18. Nothing that can't be taken care of with a 5-iron!!!(just kidding!).

Ken Lloyd tallies results. The wind generally kept scores high.

Mark Steppan checking the leader board. His 70(net 65) edged out a spectacular performance by Rory McDonough. Rory shot a net 66. His minor colapse(5 over on the last 4 holes) provided Mark just enough of an opening to capitalize.

Mark, looking forward to next month's club championship, and the prospect of three consecutive victories.
